Aisha Steel Mill Limited in Karachi, Pakistan, is seeking a highly skilled SAP MM Consultant with 4 years of experience to join its esteemed IT - SAP Department. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree complemented by SAP MM certification and demonstrate proficiency in SAP Materials Management, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Integration techniques. This role involves configuring and enhancing the SAP MM module to optimize procurement and inventory management aligned with strategic business objectives. The consultant will have direct responsibility for managing a team of two professionals, fostering collaboration, and ensuring seamless execution of SAP MM initiatives within the organization. The SAP MM Consultant is entrusted with analyzing current SAP MM structures, implementing robust solutions, and maintaining system integrity through expert support and troubleshooting. This role demands close coordination with technical teams for module configuration and custom developments while leading end-user training and testing activities to facilitate smooth project delivery. Additionally, the position requires maintaining comprehensive documentation for audit compliance and staying abreast of emerging SAP MM solutions and industry trends to continually enhance system capabilities and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate the existing SAP MM structure to identify improvement opportunities that align with organizational goals.
- Implement, configure, and maintain SAP MM modules to support procurement and inventory management processes efficiently.
- Manage and streamline procurement workflows and inventory control to optimize resource utilization and minimize costs.
- Provide expert-level support by troubleshooting technical issues related to SAP MM and ensuring quick resolution to minimize operational impact.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to design and develop custom SAP MM solutions and integrations using SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI.
- Lead and conduct comprehensive testing procedures, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to guarantee the quality and functionality of SAP solutions.
- Deliver detailed end-user training and support to empower business users and enhance system adoption.
- Maintain thorough documentation of SAP MM configurations, processes, and changes to comply with audit requirements and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Supervise and guide a dedicated team of two members, fostering professional development, efficient task management, and project success.
- Actively participate in SAP MM project planning, module upgrades, and continuous process improvement initiatives to keep systems current and effective.
- Monitor industry trends and SAP updates to continually refine SAP MM capabilities and recommend innovative solutions to business challenges.
