Al-Meezan Investment Limited is looking for a competent, dynamic, and result-oriented individual with a proven track record to fill the Senior Officer - Internal Auditor position.

The position is responsible for carrying out internal audit-related activities under the supervision of the AVP Internal Audit and the Chief Internal Auditor.

Eligibility Criteria:

Ø  Graduate/Master's / Part Qualified ACCA

Ø  2 to 3 years of progressive experience

Responsibilities

·        Conduct Audits in line with the approved audit plan to assess the adequacy of controls and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

·        Identify and assess risks associated with mutual funds activities and recommend strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.

·        Ensure that mutual funds operations adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines, including SECP rules and industry standards.

·        Maintain audit documentation, including workpapers, findings, and recommendations.

·        Assist in the preparation of a clear and concise audit report for management and relevant stakeholders.

·        Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.

·        Amongst other task, assist seniors in daily reviewing of NAV calculations of all Funds under management of Al Meezan. 

·        Carry out process and risk-oriented reviews of business operations while focusing on efficiency and profitability, and compliance issues.

·        Execute Special Audits if necessary.

·        Identification and documentation of business processes, controls, and risk evaluation
