Description
At Across Clock, the Senior Revit Residential Drafter plays a critical role in developing comprehensive and highly detailed residential architectural models using Autodesk Revit. This role requires transforming floor plans, sketches, surveys, and design information into coordinated and accurate construction documentation, ensuring that all elements meet project standards and client expectations. With a strong focus on residential construction practices such as wall, floor, roof, foundation, and framing assemblies, the Senior Drafter independently manages the creation of drawings from initial concept through final QA/QC checks, delivering precise and coordinated plans that facilitate efficient building processes. This position is ideal for someone with at least five years of professional experience producing residential construction documents and a thorough understanding of residential framing and architectural detailing. The role demands excellent attention to detail, strong skills in reading and interpreting architectural plans, and the ability to handle design revisions comprehensively within the Revit environment. While working independently, the Senior Drafter must maintain clear communication for design clarifications and adhere closely to client standards, templates, and project workflows. Knowledge of U.S. residential construction codes and experience with BIM coordination further enhance the effectiveness of this role.
