Al Meezan Investment Management Limited is looking for an Senior Management Associate -  Fund Accounting to join its

Fund Accounting Department. 

 

The primary objective is to assist in day-to-day activities pertain to NAV Calculation of multiple funds, and to improve the efficiency & productivity of the team.

 

Job Eligibility:

 

Experience: Up to 2 years of Finance / Accounting experience

Qualification: Bachelor’s  degree in Finance, Accounting, Business in Administration / Qualified / Part Qualified ACCA or ICMA

Location: Karachi

Responsibilities

·        NAV preparation, accounting entries, bank reconciliation, fund positions.

·        Input payment entries into Fund Management System (FMS) for onward payment to Management Co., Trustee, SECP & other vendors.

·        Coordinate with Operations and CS as well as with the Trustee for day-to-day tasks.

·        Providing data for monthly/quarterly standard internal reporting (for example: FMR data, Zakat working, related party statement, quarterly charity working).

·        Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements of assigned funds and coordinate with Internal, External Auditors and proof reading of accounts for printing purposes.

·        Prepare and update various reports/information as required by MUFAP, SECP, Rating Agency, Trustee, Compliance department etc. on periodic and ad-hoc basis like data entry on MEBL reporting, MUFAP website, MUFAP monthly fact sheet, SECP's monthly and quarterly reporting etc.

·        Any other task as assigned by Line Manager.
