Associate Manager Account and Finance

Description

In this role, the Associate Manager is responsible for calculating landed costs by carefully evaluating import-related expenses such as purchase price, freight, customs duties, taxes, and clearing charges. Additionally, the position involves preparing detailed financial statements, conducting pricing analysis, performing cost-volume-profit assessments, and evaluating profitability by product, customer, and business segment. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential for meeting the company’s financial reporting standards and supporting operational efficiency. This position plays a key role in driving informed decisions based on thorough financial insights within ASTO Life Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze financial data related to cost accounting and accounts management to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform end-to-end costing processes, including calculating landed costs by assessing all import-related expenses.
• Develop, maintain, and review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support management decision-making.
• Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance and timely completion.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable management to maintain healthy cash flow and accurate records.
• Conduct pricing analysis and cost-volume-profit assessments to drive profitability improvements by product and business segment.
• Analyze profitability across customers and business segments to support strategic planning and cost control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, operations, and sales to gather necessary data and enhance financial accuracy.
• Provide leadership, training, and supervision to a small accounting and finance team of 2 employees to ensure effective workflow and professional development.
