Description

As an Enumerator at C4ED Pakistan, you contribute significantly to the organization's commitment to inclusive participation. Your role demands excellent time management, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with field survey administration techniques. You will attend training sessions in Karachi or other designated locations to enhance your skills and stay updated on the latest data collection methodologies. A bachelor's degree in social sciences, humanities, or development studies and at least two years of relevant experience are required to succeed in this role. The position offers a dynamic and impactful opportunity to support research and evaluation activities essential for informed program development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative data collection through in various districts of Karachi using CAPI methodologies.
• Utilize Android-based devices and applications such as ODK, Kobo, Survey CTO, and Survey Solutions to collect and record data accurately.
• Adhere strictly to data collection protocols, ethical guidelines, and company standards to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of information gathered.
• Communicate effectively with survey participants in local languages to facilitate smooth data collection and address any concerns.
• Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while working under tight timelines and in remote or challenging environments.
• Attend and actively participate in training sessions to enhance interviewing techniques and data collection skills as required by the organization.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles encountered during fieldwork and ensure continuity of data collection activities.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of data collected, reports, and any field observations for accurate project reporting and evaluation.
• Work collaboratively with project teams and supervisors to align data collection efforts with project objectives and requirements.
• Apply prior knowledge of education-related survey tools such as EGRA and TaRL to support specialized data collection efforts when applicable.
• Respect cultural sensitivities during fieldwork activities.
• Prepare for and comply with pre-employment screening and background checks as part of the recruitment process.
