Rider / Delivery Boy

Description

Gillani International is seeking a reliable and punctual Rider / Delivery Boy to ensure the timely and secure delivery of documents, parcels, and cheques within Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as a rider, possess a valid driving license, and own a bike. This role requires excellent navigation and route planning skills, a thorough knowledge of Lahore routes, and strong adherence to traffic rules to ensure safe and efficient deliveries. The Rider will be responsible for handling company materials with care, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and reporting any vehicle maintenance needs promptly. This position emphasizes professionalism, honesty, and good communication skills to interact effectively during bank visits for deposits, collections, and other transactions. The Rider will not manage a team but must manage their tasks independently, demonstrating strong time management to meet scheduled deliveries. Fuel and maintenance allowances will be provided according to company policy, ensuring the smooth performance of daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of documents, parcels, and cheques within Lahore.
• Perform bank visits for deposits, collections, and other essential financial transactions.
• Handle company materials carefully to avoid damage or loss during transport.
• Maintain a detailed delivery log and obtain proper receipts for all deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to traffic rules and road safety regulations at all times.
• Report any required vehicle maintenance promptly to ensure operational reliability.
• Use mobile devices effectively to coordinate deliveries and communicate updates.
• Plan routes efficiently to optimize delivery times and reduce travel delays.
• Communicate clearly and politely with recipients and company personnel to facilitate smooth delivery processes.
• Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery schedules without compromising safety.
