Momentum Logistics is seeking an experienced CA Finalist/ACCA Qualified /ICMA Qualified/ Equivalent finance certifications Deputy Manager or Manager Finance to oversee and manage comprehensive financial operations having 3-4 years of relevant experience in a company, preferably in the logistics sector. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes while maintaining strong compliance with accounting principles and company policies. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of financial analysis and SAP Financial Accounting (FI). The position involves managing day-to-day finance activities, coordinating with various departments, and supporting financial decision-making at the management level. The role includes leading a team of five finance professionals, requiring both strong managerial capabilities and effective communication skills. As a Deputy Manager/Manager Finance at Interloop Holdings, you will be responsible for managing monthly financial closings within the ERP system, overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, and ensuring timely payments and collections. You will monitor cash flow and implement controls to align with internal policies and regulatory frameworks. Your efforts will directly support strategic financial planning and enhance the company’s financial health. Collaborating closely with other departments and senior leaders, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure smooth daily finance operations while maintaining high accuracy and compliance.
- Lead monthly financial closings in ERP and prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
- Oversee the entire Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) cycle to guarantee closing completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to both local and international vendors, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor and enforce timely recovery of outstanding receivables from clients to support the company's cash flow needs.
- Regularly monitor cash flow positions and coordinate cash management activities with other departments to optimize liquidity.
- Ensure strict adherence to finance policies, internal controls, regulatory standards, and best accounting practices.
- Support the management team by providing insightful financial analysis to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of five finance professionals to enhance productivity and professional development.
- Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to consolidate budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Stay updated with industry developments, regulatory changes, and financial standards to ensure compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancement within the finance function.
