Description

The Dispatch & Export Manager at Mediflex (SMC-PVT) Ltd. is responsible for overseeing all export documentation and logistics coordination to ensure the smooth flow of goods across international borders. This role focuses on managing export processes, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, and compliance with import and export regulations. The position requires a graduate with practical experience in export documentation and international logistics, with a particular emphasis on products such as medical devices or surgical instruments. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage shipments from preparation through to completion. This role does not involve team management but demands meticulous coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders, including freight forwarders, customs authorities, and banking institutions in Pakistan. The Dispatch & Export Manager ensures all shipments comply with applicable regulations, including accurate HS Code classification and proper handling of shipping and customs documentation. The ability to maintain comprehensive records and manage export compliance procedures is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage all export documentation including shipping documentation, customs documentation, and export compliance documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations.
• Coordinate logistics activities including freight forwarding, inventory management, and shipment scheduling to guarantee timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
• Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and banking institutions to facilitate customs clearance and adherence to import and export compliance requirements.
• Handle the classification of goods using HS Codes and manage Bill of Lading arrangements for shipments.
• Oversee the entire export process from shipment preparation through to successful completion, ensuring all regulatory requirements and company standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to exports and dispatch operations for audit and compliance purposes.
• Monitor and update export status regularly and provide detailed reports on shipments to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to international trade regulations with particular focus on the export of medical devices, surgical instruments, and similar manufactured products.
• Apply a detail-oriented approach to document verification and shipment coordination to minimize risks of delays and non-compliance.
• Communicate effectively in English with team members, suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies to resolve issues promptly and maintain smooth operations.
