Civil Site Supervisor

Description

Paragon City (Pvt.) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Site Supervisor with a diploma in Civil Technology and at least 5 years of practical experience. This role focuses on overseeing daily construction activities across project sites to ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety regulations. The supervisor actively coordinates with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain high-quality workmanship and compliance with project schedules. While this position does not include team management responsibilities, it demands strong coordination skills to work effectively with various stakeholders and ensure smooth site operations. The Civil Site Supervisor meticulously monitors civil construction tasks such as foundations, excavation, concrete pouring, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, and finishing. They maintain comprehensive documentation including site reports, manpower, and material usage records and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards at the workplace. The role also involves interpreting engineering drawings, quality checking materials and workmanship, identifying site issues, and facilitating necessary inspections and testing to uphold project standards and timely completion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all daily civil construction activities and laborers onsite to ensure proper execution according to project plans.
• Monitor and oversee various construction phases including foundation works, excavation, concrete placement, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, and finishing tasks.
• Interpret and verify civil engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical plans to guide onsite operations.
• Ensure all construction work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality control standards.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and project management teams to ensure seamless workflow and issue resolution.
• Inspect construction materials and workmanship regularly to maintain high quality and adherence to specifications.
• Track daily progress and ensure the project stays aligned with the approved schedule and timelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records including daily site reports, manpower attendance, and material consumption logs.
• Enforce strict compliance with site health, safety, and environmental policies to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
• Verify measurements, quantities, and completed work for accuracy and conformity to project requirements.
• Identify and promptly report any technical or site-related problems to the project engineer for swift resolution.
• Arrange and supervise concrete inspections, material testing, and other site inspections as required by project protocols.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of construction materials, tools, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize wastage.
