PureLogics is seeking a dedicated Product Analytics Lead to oversee and elevate our product data analytics initiatives. This leadership role requires a dynamic professional with at least six years of experience, including hands-on engagement with product analytics platforms and a deep understanding of product metrics. The ideal candidate will manage a talented team of seven analysts, guiding the development and implementation of data-driven strategies that enhance product performance and user engagement. Collaborating closely with Product Managers, developers, and business stakeholders, this role demands strong communication and stakeholder-management skills to translate complex data insights into actionable business decisions. As the Product Analytics Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the analytical framework supporting the product lifecycle. You will define key performance indicators, develop and maintain instrumentation plans, and ensure accurate event tracking across web and mobile platforms. By building insightful dashboards and conducting comprehensive user behavior analyses, you contribute significantly to feature adoption strategies and product optimization. Your expertise in funnels, cohorts, retention, and behavioral analysis will empower PureLogics to deliver exceptional product experiences and drive measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Own and configure the product analytics platform, preferably PostHog, including event tracking, user identification, session replay, feature flags, privacy controls, and analytics configuration.
Develop dashboards, funnels, cohorts, retention analyses, and other product analytics views that answer business and product questions and support data-driven decisions.
Work with Product Managers and business stakeholders to understand decision-critical questions and translate them into measurement plans, event definitions, properties, and tracking requirements.
Partner with developers to define and review analytics instrumentation and ensure tracking is implemented accurately across web and mobile applications.
Use SQL and backend data sources to analyze user behavior, validate analytics data, identify discrepancies, and drive resolution of data-quality issues.
Establish and maintain event taxonomy, naming conventions, data dictionaries, tracking standards, and analytics governance.
Train and enable Product Managers and other stakeholders to perform self-service analysis and effectively use product analytics tools.
Communicate product insights, performance trends, friction points, and opportunities to business and leadership stakeholders.
