Description
3D Tact Ltd is seeking a dedicated CAD Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join their team at the Dera Ghazi Khan site. The ideal candidate will excel in creating detailed 3D CAD models and have a strong understanding of design principles to support manufacturing processes. This position focuses on producing precise and efficient engineering drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform concepts into manufacturable products, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to guarantee product quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing cycle. The role requires hands-on expertise in SolidWorks and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles. You will work directly with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production efficiency while meeting customer specifications. The position is onsite at Dera Ghazi Khan and demands strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to design challenges. This role does not involve managing a team but emphasizes individual technical contributions and effective collaboration within the engineering department.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D CAD models using SolidWorks to support product design and development.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to prepare accurate engineering drawings.
- Implement Design For Manufacturability (DFM) principles to optimize product designs for efficient manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet functional and quality requirements.
- Review and revise CAD models and drawings based on feedback and changing project requirements.
- Support prototyping and testing activities by providing detailed design documentation and technical guidance.
- Ensure all CAD documentation complies with company and industry standards for quality and accuracy.
- Assist in troubleshooting design and manufacturing issues by providing clear and detailed CAD solutions.
- Maintain organized records of design files, revisions, and project documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest CAD software developments, tools, and engineering best practices relevant to the role.
