A2 Solution is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our operations team. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience and excels in effective communication. This role requires managing a team of ten persons to coordinate and optimize the scheduling and routing of transportation activities efficiently. The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring that all deliveries and pickups are performed timely, supporting operational goals, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and drivers. The Dispatcher leads the team in route planning, monitoring shipments, and addressing any issues that arise during transit. This position demands excellent organizational skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills underpin the ability to liaise with drivers, customers, and other departments, ensuring smooth daily operations. The Dispatcher should be proactive in problem resolution and fuel continuous improvement in logistics and transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize delivery and pickup routes in coordination with the logistics team to ensure timely service.
• Manage and supervise a team of ten dispatch personnel to maintain high performance and operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to coordinate shipment schedules and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor vehicle locations and shipment status using tracking systems to ensure compliance with schedules.
• Respond quickly to transportation disruptions, delays, and emergencies, adjusting plans to minimize impact on delivery times.
• Maintain accurate records of shipment details, including route plans, delivery times, and any incidents encountered.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule vehicle servicing and inspections, reducing downtime.
• Train and mentor team members in best practices for dispatch operations and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Prepare and present regular reports on dispatch activities, team performance, and operational improvements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within the dispatch department.
