AA Joyland Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled IT Head to lead and oversee the IT department at its Head Office in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience and a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. This leadership role involves developing IT strategy and roadmaps, managing enterprise architecture, and ensuring cybersecurity and risk management across the organization. The IT Head will be responsible for the cloud strategy and operations as well as IT service management, driving efficient and secure technology solutions that support business objectives. The IT Head manages a team of five professionals, providing remote IT support to users and branch offices, and maintains the organization’s network infrastructure, including Cisco-managed switches, MikroTik firewalls, and Grandstream access points. This role demands hands-on involvement in server and network management, disaster recovery planning, and IT project management, ensuring technology infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable to accommodate the company’s growth and technological advancements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies and roadmaps in alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead and manage the IT team of five members, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and effective performance.
• Oversee and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and access points, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Manage IP telephony systems such as Grandstream UCM PBX and IP phones to guarantee uninterrupted and high-quality communication.
• Provide remote IT support to users and branch offices, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and consistent user satisfaction.
• Administer and maintain server infrastructure, including RAID storage systems, to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery plans that safeguard critical organizational data and enable rapid recovery from outages or failures.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies like virtual reality and other digital tools, evaluating their potential and integrating relevant innovations into business operations.
• Manage IT projects end to end, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery, ensuring projects meet defined scope, timeline, and budget.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and risk management frameworks to protect organizational data and IT assets.
• Oversee cloud strategy and operations, optimizing the use of cloud services in support of business needs.
• Maintain enterprise architecture standards and oversee proper IT service management practices across the organization.
