Description

AAA Digital is seeking a detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher with at least one year of experience to coordinate and manage the scheduling and dispatching of trucking operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills with proficiency in English rated at least 8 out of 10. This role focuses on ensuring timely and efficient delivery by booking loads and communicating effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders. The Truck Dispatcher operates independently without team management responsibilities, prioritizing organized tracking and problem-solving within the transportation process. The Truck Dispatcher plays a vital role in optimizing logistics operations by effectively booking loads, maintaining clear communication channels, and monitoring truck routes to ensure timely deliveries. This position requires multitasking and maintaining accurate records while collaborating with drivers and customers to meet delivery deadlines and respond quickly to any issues or changes in schedules. The role supports overall business goals by streamlining dispatch procedures and improving operational efficiency through proactive planning and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and book loads efficiently to maximize trucking route utilization and delivery schedules.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with truck drivers, clients, and suppliers to relay dispatch details and resolve queries.
• Monitor truck locations and delivery progress, adjusting dispatch plans as required to handle delays or route changes.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, load details, and driver assignments for reporting and audit purposes.
• Evaluate transportation requests, determine feasibility, and schedule dispatches to ensure optimal resource usage.
• Respond to operational issues or emergencies by coordinating rapid solutions and rerouting where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during dispatch operations.
• Use dispatch software or systems to track loads and schedules, maintaining organized documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and logistics, to improve overall transportation efficiency.
• Provide feedback and update management on dispatch operations and potential improvements.
