Abid Real Advisors seeks a dedicated Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of six years of experience in cashiering or related customer service roles. This role involves handling cash transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for every client. The Cashier does not manage a team but plays a vital role in the daily operations of the company by efficiently processing payments and maintaining accurate records. The Cashier is responsible for managing all financial transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to handle customer inquiries, and a commitment to maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times. Candidates must meet the specified requirements and demonstrate a willingness to contribute to the company's goals through reliable and efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit, and debit payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized cash register and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer questions and concerns promptly.
- Verify the accuracy of prices, discounts, and promotions during transactions.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to cash handling and security.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or suspicious activities to management.
- Support inventory management by reporting low-stock items and damaged goods.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain smooth and efficient store operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times.
