Description
AcrossClocks is seeking an experienced Senior Revit Residential Drafter to support U.S.-based residential projects. The ideal candidate will have strong professional experience with Autodesk Revit, U.S./North American residential construction, and construction documentation.
This is a hands-on production role for someone who can take existing designs or preliminary Revit models and independently develop and refine them into accurate, coordinated construction documents. Responsibilities include producing floor plans, elevations, sections, details, sheet layouts, annotations, and revisions, while maintaining consistency and accuracy across the drawing set.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of residential construction methods, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong English comprehension and communication skills are required.
Experience with wood-frame construction, residential framing/structural drawings, California residential projects, building codes, permitting, and city corrections will be considered a strong advantage.
Candidates must provide a portfolio demonstrating U.S./North American residential Revit experience, preferably including construction documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine residential Revit models and construction document sets from existing designs and preliminary models.
- Produce and coordinate floor plans, elevations, sections, construction details, and sheet layouts in accordance with project standards.
- Prepare and update dimensions, annotations, notes, tags, and drawing references throughout the construction documents.
- Incorporate markups, redlines, design revisions, and drawing corrections accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and refine architectural and residential construction details, including structural and framing information where required.
- Maintain consistency and coordination across models, drawings, details, and sheet sets.
- Review drawings for accuracy and independently identify and resolve routine drafting, documentation, and coordination issues.
- Support permit revisions and city corrections and manage drawing updates across multiple residential projects as required.
