AGM Road Construction is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong capabilities in surveying and have hands-on experience with civil engineering projects focused on road construction and infrastructure development. This role involves planning, designing, and overseeing construction work to ensure safety, durability, and adherence to project specifications. Since the position does not involve managing a team, the candidate will concentrate on technical execution and collaboration with various project stakeholders to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for conducting detailed site surveys, preparing engineering plans, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The role requires applying engineering principles to solve challenges encountered during project execution, including analyzing soil conditions, managing materials, and monitoring construction progress. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills are essential to optimize project outcomes, maintain quality standards, and deliver projects on time within the allocated budget.
Responsibilities
- Conduct precise surveying and mapping of project sites to collect accurate data for design and construction purposes.
- Develop detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for road construction projects.
- Analyze soil, materials, and environmental data to inform design decisions and construction methods.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all project requirements and safety standards.
- Monitor construction activities to verify workmanship quality and adherence to engineering designs and project timelines.
- Identify potential risks and challenges during the construction process and propose effective solutions.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
- Ensure that all engineering activities align with environmental protection regulations and company policies.
- Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize project delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest civil engineering technologies and best practices to improve project outcomes.
