Description
The Odoo ERP / MRP Techno-Functional Consultant plays a critical role in tailoring and optimizing the Odoo ERP system to meet the specific needs of manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for configuring core MRP functionalities such as bills of materials, routings, work centers, production scheduling, and procurement workflows. This position demands expertise in data migration, master data management, and customization using Odoo Studio and Python development to automate workflows and enhance system capabilities. By working remotely in coordination with a global team, you will ensure seamless integration of manufacturing operations with inventory, warehouse, and purchasing modules. The job requires maintaining system accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and recommending best practices to support the company's manufacturing objectives and improve overall productivity.
Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Odoo ERP modules with a focus on Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) to align with business requirements.
- Customize bills of materials, routings, work centers, and production schedules to optimize manufacturing workflows.
- Manage inventory and warehouse processes alongside production planning to ensure stock accuracy and timely procurement.
- Perform business process analysis and requirements gathering to identify gaps and opportunities for system enhancements.
- Develop and automate workflows using Odoo Studio and Python programming to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct data migration and master data management including data mapping, profiling, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Support procurement and purchase management processes within the Odoo ERP system to streamline vendor interactions.
- Maintain documentation and provide training materials to end-users for smooth adoption of ERP changes.
- Participate actively in remote meetings during UK business hours, effectively communicating progress and challenges.
- Leverage knowledge of Odoo API and Python modules for extending system functionalities and integrations.
- Apply expertise from manufacturing or fabrication environments to improve ERP system alignment with operational needs.
- Adhere to company policies regarding remote work, ensuring reliable internet connectivity and technical readiness.
