AI Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in web development and possess strong technical skills in responsive web design, RESTful API development, and version control. This role requires ownership of a personal laptop and the ability to work efficiently from home. The Senior Web Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and embedding best practices in testing and debugging processes. This position includes leading a team of five developers, fostering collaboration with UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences, and integrating DevOps practices including continuous integration and deployment. The developer will oversee the implementation and maintenance of automated build and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD. Strong expertise in Git workflows, including branching and merging strategies, and automated testing with Selenium WebDriver will be essential to succeed in this role. The Senior Web Developer must demonstrate leadership in driving project delivery and optimizing development workflows in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications ensuring optimal performance across devices and browsers.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support application functionality and third-party integrations.
- Lead and mentor a team of five web developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional and appealing user interfaces.
- Implement version control best practices using Git, including branching, merging, and managing pull requests.
- Develop and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Integrate automated testing frameworks like Selenium WebDriver to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and debug issues to improve system stability and performance.
- Manage the deployment process and monitor web applications in production to ensure smooth operation.
- Promote DevOps practices within the team to streamline development and release cycles.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve development efficiency.
- Ensure all development activities comply with the requirement of working remotely from home and using personal equipment.
