Description

Aisha Steel Mill Limited Karachi, Pakistan seeks a dedicated Executive-Warehouse professional with at least four years of experience to oversee daily warehouse operations effectively. This role requires expertise in warehouse management systems and inventory control to maintain the seamless flow of stock and materials from receipt to dispatch. The ideal candidate implements safety compliance measures and optimizes supply chain processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse activities. The position demands meticulous handling of stock verification, dispatch coordination, vehicle management, loading and unloading operations, and maintenance of accurate records using SAP systems. In this role, the Executive-Warehouse is responsible for coordinating with drivers and the sales team to facilitate timely and smooth inbound and outbound logistics. They maintain proper stacking and organization within the warehouse according to a predefined layout. Although not responsible for managing a team, the professional must exercise leadership in managing day-to-day operations and collaborating with various departments to support continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse performance and safety management.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily warehouse operations including stock receiving and verification using SAP and inward gate passes.
• Supervise and carry out dispatch operations to ensure timely deliveries against sales orders (OBD).
• Manage vehicle movements to guarantee smooth gate entry and exit procedures and monitor weighing operations.
• Coordinate and oversee loading and unloading labor activities to maintain efficiency and safety during material handling.
• Conduct daily stock counts and maintain accurate inventory tracking to ensure stock integrity.
• Prepare and maintain dispatch reports, customer receiving records, goods received notes (GRN), and gate inward/outward record keeping.
• Collaborate with loading and unloading drivers to synchronize vehicle in/out schedules for optimal logistics flow.
• Coordinate with the sales team to support smooth and efficient sales operations that impact warehousing and dispatch.
• Implement the warehouse layout plan effectively to ensure proper stacking and organization of stock.
• Ensure compliance with safety management systems (SMS) and other safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Identify opportunities for supply chain optimization and implement best practices for warehouse process improvements.
