Description

Al-Khair Gadoon Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support Oracle database applications and ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in PL/SQL programming, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports to create efficient and reliable database applications tailored to support various business departments including Finance, HR, Sales, Inventory, Procurement, and Production. This role demands strong collaboration skills to understand functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions that ensure high system performance, data integrity, and seamless integration within the company's enterprise environment. The position requires a minimum of five years of hands-on experience developing Oracle-based solutions and a thorough understanding of database performance tuning and ERP support, particularly in a manufacturing setting. This role involves working independently without team management responsibilities but requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills to support end users, troubleshoot issues, and maintain comprehensive documentation. The Oracle Developer will also assist in database administration tasks, such as backup and recovery, and develop integrations between Oracle ERP and third-party systems. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database applications including PL/SQL programs, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence purposes.
• Create and maintain Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports in alignment with business requirements.
• Customize Oracle ERP modules to support Finance, HR, Sales, Inventory, Procurement, and Production departments, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous system availability.
• Collaborate closely with functional users and stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for Oracle development projects.
• Ensure database integrity, security, and optimal performance by monitoring health, tuning queries, and managing indexing strategies.
• Support database backup, recovery, and migration activities to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
• Develop interfaces and integrations between Oracle ERP and external third-party applications to enable seamless data flow.
• Design and implement dashboards and management information system reports for enhanced decision-making and performance monitoring.
• Automate routine business processes using Oracle development tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload.
• Conduct rigorous unit testing and support user acceptance testing to validate new developments and system enhancements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including database design specifications, user manuals, and version control records.
• Provide ongoing technical support and training to end users on new features, updates, and system functionalities.
• Ensure compliance with corporate coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance measures throughout the development lifecycle.
• Continuously research and adapt to emerging Oracle technologies and ERP trends to improve system capabilities and operational effectiveness.
