Description

Al-Rehman Developers is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager with a strong background in financial management and accounting within the real estate and construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational foundation, preferably being a Chartered Accountant (CA) or a finance graduate with relevant experience. This position requires hands-on expertise in managing financial reporting, general ledger accounting, tax compliance, and budgeting, with a keen eye for accuracy and governance. The role is based in Zafarwal, and candidates willing to relocate or commute will be given preference. Though this role does not involve managing a team, it demands high energy, vigilance, and adaptability to ensure effective financial operations within the company’s dynamic environment. The Accounts Manager will play a pivotal role in operational and site cash management, ensuring timely and accurate financial documentation and reporting. They will be responsible for overseeing month-end close processes, audit management, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Proficiency in ERP and accounting software is essential to efficiently handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation. The candidate is expected to be diligent in managing purchase orders, invoice processing, and three-way matching processes to maintain precise control over financial transactions and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of financial reporting including preparation of balance sheets, financial statements, and monthly closures.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts accurately and timely, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded properly.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts are verified and matched correctly.
• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and manage cash flow at operational and site levels to support company liquidity.
• Implement robust budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring variances and providing insightful financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with taxation laws and filing requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to real estate and construction.
• Manage audit activities by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with auditors to facilitate smooth audits.
• Utilize ERP and accounting software systems effectively to streamline financial operations and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor and control month-end close workflows, ensuring deadlines are met with high accuracy and thorough account reconciliations.
• Oversee purchase order management and goods receipt reconciliation, ensuring alignment between procurement and accounting functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance governance processes, improve operational efficiencies, and uphold financial controls.
• Demonstrate high energy and vigilance while adapting to changing business needs and maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize financial operations and regulatory compliance practices.
