Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager Human Resources to lead and support the HR operations team. This role demands overseeing the entire HR function, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The position involves managing a team of five HR professionals, providing coaching, setting clear performance goals, and fostering a positive work environment. The Assistant Manager will ensure streamlined HR operations, accuracy in data management, and alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and possesses a minimum of five years of proven experience in HR operations or management. Excellent communication skills, robust problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of recruitment and HR best practices are essential. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in driving HR projects and initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement and ensuring a compliant, engaged, and productive workforce.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of five HR professionals by providing clear guidance, coaching, and support to facilitate their professional growth and achieve departmental objectives.
- Establish and monitor performance goals for the HR team, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, employee relations, offboarding, payroll processing, and HRIS management, ensuring seamless and compliant HR service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and refine HR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, scalability, and alignment with organizational needs.
- Maintain accurate HR data and documentation while ensuring full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies and HR-related legal requirements, preparing and submitting accurate HR reports for regulatory authorities as needed.
- Address employee issues and concerns promptly to promote a positive workplace culture, working collaboratively with the HR team to resolve conflicts and improve employee satisfaction.
- Support talent acquisition activities by assisting in job description development, participating in interview processes, conducting reference checks, and sourcing candidates through multiple channels.
- Contribute actively to HR projects and initiatives including policy development, diversity and inclusion programs, and strategic HR planning to support organizational growth.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function by engaging in quality improvement programs and participating in any additional tasks assigned by management.
