Description
The Executive Human Resources position at Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital plays a vital role in supporting the hospital’s workforce by managing recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development initiatives. This role involves sourcing and attracting potential candidates through multiple channels, conducting preliminary interviews, and facilitating a smooth and positive hiring and onboarding process. The executive collaborates with management to ensure HR policies align with organizational goals and assist in employee relations and retention strategies. The role requires a strong foundation in human resources functions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment. This position supports payroll operations by monitoring attendance and deductions to ensure accuracy and assists in conflict resolution and grievance procedures alongside the HR Manager. The Executive Human Resources also participates in career events to attract top talent and prepares HR reports for management to drive informed decision-making. While this role does not include managing a team, it is instrumental in maintaining up-to-date candidate information and recruitment data to support ongoing hospital staffing needs and the quality improvement programs within the institution.
Responsibilities
- Source potential candidates through job boards, social media platforms, and employee referrals.
- Review resumes and applications to identify candidates that meet the job requirements.
- Conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers to ensure timely recruitment processes.
- Support payroll operations by monitoring attendance records and making necessary deductions for allied hospital staff.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the interview and induction process.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including completing paperwork and facilitating orientation activities.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive database of potential candidates for future openings.
- Ensure all hiring approval formalities are completed prior to employee induction.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently followed and updated as needed to comply with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager in handling employee relations issues and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Participate in investigations and grievance handling to support a fair and respectful workplace.
- Support recruitment initiatives by representing the hospital in job fairs and career events to attract a diverse talent pool.
- Compile, prepare, and present HR reports for management review and decision-making.
- Help maintain quality improvement programs focused on enhancing the HR functions and employee experience.
