Al-Taqadum Mega Mart is seeking a responsible and experienced Cashier to join their new store in Saddar Cantt, Lahore. This role requires proficiency in operating Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems, accurate cash handling, and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in cashier duties, especially in retail or supermarket environments. This position does not involve managing a team but demands strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The Cashier will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining accurate transaction records, and supporting store inventory management. The Cashier is also expected to assist with stock management and general store tasks as needed, demonstrating a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities. The role offers a long-term employment opportunity with overtime pay, meal provisions, and potential salary increments based on performance. Responsibilities

• Operate POS and IPOS software efficiently to process customer transactions and billing.
• Handle daily cash transactions accurately to prevent discrepancies and ensure balanced cash registers.
• Perform data entry tasks related to sales, returns, and exchanges while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Assist in stock management by maintaining inventory records, conducting inventory reconciliation, and performing cycle counts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, prices, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers and ensure correct billing.
• Process returns and exchanges according to company policies while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Reconcile cash register balances at the end of shifts and report any inconsistencies immediately.
• Support general store operations including assisting customers, answering queries, and maintaining store cleanliness as needed.
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and honesty throughout work hours to represent Al-Taqadum Mega Mart positively.
• Collaborate with store staff and management to enhance overall store efficiency and customer experience.
• Adapt to additional responsibilities as assigned, showing flexibility and a proactive attitude toward store needs.
