Job Description

Al Yousuf Global Services is seeking experienced Steel Structural Welders for shipbuilding and submarine construction projects in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Perform steel structural welding tasks according to technical drawings, welding procedures, and industry standards.
• Inspect and prepare materials and components for welding operations in shipyard or marine construction projects.
• Interpret and apply welding codes such as IACS, AWS, ASME, or other relevant standards to ensure compliance.
• Maintain weld quality and workmanship in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure safe handling and operation of welding equipment and tools following company and industry safety protocols.
• Collaborate with supervisors, inspectors, and other team members to resolve welding issues and ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including certifications, inspections, and quality control documentation.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge related to welding techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the improvement of welding safety procedures in the workplace.
• Assist in identifying and reporting any equipment malfunctions or welding defects promptly to minimize project delays.
