Hey! I'm looking for a YouTube video editor to join our team and help us make videos people actually want to watch.
What you'll be doing
You'll edit a mix of faceless YouTube automation videos and documentary-style content. Pacing, storytelling, and keeping viewers watching until the end matter a lot to us, so you should know what works on YouTube and why.
What we're looking for
- Solid editing skills, from the basics to more advanced work
- Comfortable with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, including animations, transitions, effects, and sound editing
- Good understanding of export settings and compression so videos look sharp on YouTube
- Experience with cash cow and faceless video styles (a big plus)
- Basic knowledge of YouTube SEO (nice to have)
- Good English, so you can follow scripts, voiceovers, and footage and keep the final video true to the message
- Able to work independently, manage your own time, and hit deadlines
- Attention to detail and a habit of improving your craft with every project

Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality YouTube videos, including faceless automation content and documentary-style videos.
- Apply basic to advanced video editing techniques such as trimming, color correction, color grading, and audio editing to enhance video quality.
- Create and integrate motion graphics, animations, transitions, text, captions, and visual effects using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Incorporate stock footage, maps, sound effects, and other visual elements to enrich the video content and maintain viewer engagement.
- Optimize videos for YouTube by applying knowledge of video compression formats, such as H.264, to ensure fast loading and high playback quality.
- Collaborate with content creators by following scripts accurately and understanding video context to deliver cohesive and compelling narratives.
- Continuously monitor audience retention metrics and adjust editing style to improve viewer engagement and retention rates.
- Manage multiple video projects independently, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Maintain attention to detail throughout editing, ensuring consistency, smooth transitions, and professional final products.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, YouTube platform updates, and content creation best practices to deliver innovative video content.
- Maintain efficient workflow and backup systems to safeguard video assets and project files.
- Demonstrate a willingness to receive and implement feedback to refine editing skills and video quality over time.
