The Senior Officer in the Resources Mobilization Department at Alkhidmat Foundation plays a vital role in planning and executing comprehensive resource mobilization strategies. The officer is responsible for identifying potential donors from diverse segments including individuals, institutions, and corporations and developing tailored engagement approaches to secure funding. Key tasks include preparing detailed funding proposals, concept notes, presentations, and donor updates that effectively communicate the needs and impact of the Foundation’s programs. Additionally, this role demands meticulous donor data management and consistent monitoring of outreach activities to support the Foundation’s mission and financial sustainability. This role requires a professional who can coordinate and drive multiple fundraising campaigns and events, ensuring smooth operations from planning through to communication and follow-up. The Senior Officer works closely with program teams to stay informed about funding priorities and program developments to develop timely and compelling proposals and reports. Maintaining high standards for donor communications and resource mobilization processes is essential, ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines and enhancing donor engagement. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it calls for strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement resource mobilization activities in collaboration with regional teams and relevant departments to meet funding goals.
• Identify and research potential individual, institutional, and corporate donors, developing tailored engagement plans to establish and strengthen donor relationships.
• Prepare comprehensive and persuasive funding proposals, concept notes, presentations, and donor updates that clearly communicate program needs and impact.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor and prospect records, tracking fundraising outreach efforts and preparing regular progress reports to inform senior management.
• Coordinate all aspects of fundraising campaigns and events, including planning, communication strategies, logistics, and post-event follow-up to maximize donor participation and support.
• Collaborate with program teams to understand funding priorities and gather necessary information to support the development of timely funding proposals and reports.
• Ensure all donor communications and resource mobilization processes are professional, consistent, and aligned with Alkhidmat Foundation’s organizational standards and values.
• Monitor ongoing fundraising activities, analyze results, and recommend improvements to optimize future resource mobilization efforts.
• Support the development and upkeep of the donor database to enhance tracking, analysis, and reporting for fundraising activities.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities that will inform and enhance resource mobilization strategies.
