Description
The Product Specialist plays a crucial part in translating complex clinical and scientific data into accessible training modules that enhance the field force’s product knowledge and performance. The role demands leadership in regulatory affairs by preparing and submitting DRAP registration dossiers, managing renewals and variations, and ensuring full regulatory compliance. Additionally, the Product Specialist owns the entire tender management process, including technical dossier compilation and institutional bidding for government and private accounts. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, regulatory adherence, and efficient coordination with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to support the company’s market presence and commercial success.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary product expert at the head office, validating marketing campaigns and reviewing promotional materials for scientific and medical accuracy.
- Develop, design, and deliver comprehensive scientific training modules and product knowledge sessions tailored for sales and marketing teams.
- Lead all DRAP registration dossier submissions, including initial registrations, renewals, and dossier variations, ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
- Manage institutional tender processes end-to-end, including the preparation and submission of technical dossiers and necessary documentation for government and private tenders.
- Translate complex clinical data, scientific research, and medical literature into clear, concise, and engaging training content suitable for commercial teams.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, regulatory, and quality assurance to align product strategies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DRAP regulations and industry trends to ensure continuous compliance and anticipate regulatory changes impacting product registration and marketing.
- Coordinate with external regulatory bodies, healthcare institutions, and government agencies to facilitate smooth tender submissions and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Support the sales and marketing teams by providing technical expertise and answering detailed product-related questions to enhance customer engagement.
- Monitor and report on compliance status, training effectiveness, and tender outcomes to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
