AM Production Studios seeks a skilled Video Editor with at least 2 years of dedicated experience in video editing, color grading, motion graphics, and audio editing. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong workflow management and understands the importance of adhering to deadlines while handling multiple tasks efficiently under stress. This role requires a professional who starts every project with storyboarding as a critical initial step before engaging with editing software. Candidates with experience using Capcut and who meet the experience requirements are welcome to apply by providing a demo to showcase their workflow management, software knowledge, export settings, and audio synchronization skills. This position emphasizes professionalism and maturity, preferring applicants currently pursuing higher education or holding a university degree. Selected candidates should have a hobby outside of work to maintain a well-balanced mindset, as AM Production Studios values a fresh and focused approach to creative projects. Candidates will undergo a probationary period to evaluate their performance and integration into the company environment. This role involves individual contributions without managing a team but demands a strong ability to collaborate effectively within a production setup.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce high-quality video content by applying expert level video editing techniques including timeline editing, color grading, and motion graphics animation.

• Create detailed storyboards as the foundation for each project to ensure a clear visual plan before video editing begins.

• Manage audio editing tasks such as syncing audio with video and cleaning up audio tracks to deliver polished final products.

• Optimize workflows by using efficient proxy workflows, managing media assets properly, and keeping file management organized to meet project deadlines.

• Utilize professional software tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Media Encoder to handle editing, effects, exporting, and video compression.

• Adjust export settings and compression techniques using H.264, ProRes, FFmpeg, and HandBrake to ensure highest quality video output matching client requirements.

• Collaborate closely with other creative team members and clients to incorporate feedback and deliver final videos on time.

• Handle technical tasks such as keyframe animation, video format conversion, and timeline-based editing to enhance video storytelling.

• Maintain a strong understanding of various video formats and codecs, ensuring compatibility and quality for different platforms and uses.

• Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing deadlines and complex projects to deliver consistent results.

• Engage in continuous learning and skill refinement through reviewing workflow efficiency and embracing new video editing technologies and techniques.

• Participate in demonstration sessions by editing real client raw footage to showcase practical skills, workflow, and time management.

• Commit to professional conduct, including maturity in communication and work ethics, aligning with AM Production Studios' standards of excellence.
