Join Amanah Group of Companies as a Project Manager in Civil Construction to lead significant construction projects from initial gray structure stages through final finishing and handover. This role requires a seasoned professional with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, and AutoCAD certification. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of construction activities, including civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and timely delivery. The Project Manager will closely collaborate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate resources and project execution effectively. In this role, the candidate will manage a team of 20 persons, providing strong leadership, site supervision, and decision-making to achieve project goals. Responsibilities include planning, budget management, variance analysis, and site monitoring to control costs and maintain productivity. The ability to interpret technical drawings and resolve site-related issues quickly is essential. The Project Manager will ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards, prepare detailed progress reports, and coordinate inspections and final handovers. This position demands hands-on site work and travel to project locations as necessary, with a salary based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities across all phases from gray structure through to finishing and final handover.
- Manage a site team of 20 persons, fostering collaboration and ensuring that project objectives and deadlines are met efficiently.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, bills of quantities, specifications, and construction plans to guide on-site execution.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any conflicts.
- Monitor project progress including manpower deployment, material usage, site productivity, and quality standards, adjusting plans as needed to meet goals.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Identify, analyze, and solve technical and site-related issues promptly to prevent project delays and cost overruns.
- Control and track project budgets, monitor costs, address variances, and prevent wastage to keep expenses within approved limits.
- Ensure compliance with quality control and safety standards through continuous supervision and enforcement.
- Prepare comprehensive project progress reports and maintain detailed documentation for stakeholders and management review.
- Lead testing, inspections, snagging, and rectification processes, coordinating the final handover of completed projects to clients.
- Apply strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills to guide the site team and collaborate with external parties effectively.
- Travel to project sites as required to provide on-ground supervision and resolve critical issues swiftly.
