Project Manager - Civil

Join Amanah Group of Companies as a Project Manager in Civil Engineering, where you will lead and oversee all aspects of high-rise building construction projects. This role requires managing a team , including site staff, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring that projects are executed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, maintain strict control over construction activities, and supervise batching plant operations to secure the timely and quality delivery of concrete. Your leadership skills will be crucial in guiding the team through complex finishing works and ensuring successful project handover. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a preference for a Master’s degree, and brings 15 years of extensive experience in construction project management. You will apply your expertise in project scheduling, budget management, contract administration, quality control, and cost estimation to deliver high-quality construction outcomes. Proficiency in construction management software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools will support your effective planning and execution of projects. Your problem-solving abilities and attention to detail will be essential in resolving technical issues and maintaining compliance with all project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor construction activities to ensure timely project delivery.

• Lead site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards.

• Manage project schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and resource allocation.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.

• Supervise batching plant operations to ensure timely production, testing, quality, and delivery of concrete.

• Review drawings, technical documents, BOQs, and project specifications.

• Review and verify Bar Bending Schedules, reinforcement detailing, steel consumption, and steel test reports to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.

• Monitor progress and prepare management reports.

• Oversee finishing works, including mep works, plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, ceilings, doors, fixtures, and other architectural works.

• Inspect completed works, identify defects, and ensure timely rectification and handover.
