Amson Vaccines Pharma is seeking an experienced Driver with 25 years of professional driving experience to join their transportation team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in safe and defensive driving practices, ensuring the protection of passengers, cargo, and company assets during transit. This role requires precise route planning and adeptness in GPS navigation to optimize travel time and accommodate varying schedules. The Driver operates company vehicles efficiently, adheres to traffic laws, and maintains punctuality for timely deliveries or pickups. The Driver will be responsible for the maintenance of the vehicle's cleanliness and mechanical condition by conducting routine inspections and reporting any issues promptly. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions independently are critical, as this role does not involve team management. The Driver fosters a professional image of Amson Vaccines Pharma by adhering to safety standards and providing reliable transportation services to support company operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely by observing all traffic laws and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
- Plan and follow efficient routes utilizing GPS navigation and route planning tools to minimize travel time and maximize delivery or pick-up efficiency.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep to ensure a professional appearance and reliable operation.
- Coordinate with company staff to schedule trips, deliveries, or pickups according to operational requirements and deadlines.
- Manage documentation related to vehicle logs, delivery receipts, and incident reports accurately and timely.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Respond calmly and competently to emergencies, road hazards, or unexpected changes in route or schedule.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when transporting sensitive materials or company information.
- Ensure fuel efficiency by monitoring vehicle conditions and employing best practices during driving.
