Accountant

Description

Amullat FZ is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Arabic and possess comprehensive knowledge of Saudi tax regulations, including VAT and tax filings. This role requires a minimum of three to five years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local financial laws. The Accountant will focus on managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with tax-related activities while ensuring all financial operations adhere to regulatory standards. This is an individual contributor role without team management responsibilities. The Accountant will collaborate with other departments to support accurate financial data flow and contribute to effective financial decision-making processes. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to apply tax knowledge practically are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and bookkeeping in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage and file Saudi VAT and other tax returns on a timely basis, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable to maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning to support organizational goals.
• Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Stay updated on changes in Saudi tax laws and regulations to ensure continuous compliance and implementation of best practices.
• Support the development and implementation of improved accounting processes and controls.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard the financial information of the organization.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Utilize accounting software and tools to enhance financial data management and reporting.
