Ansaar Management Company (Pvt) Limited is seeking a skilled Architect Draft Designer with a minimum of three years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will specialize in preparing architectural drawings and construction documents for projects based in the United States. This role requires expertise in developing detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and architectural layouts that comply with U.S. building codes and project standards. The designer works closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to produce accurate and consistent documentation that supports successful project execution. The Architect Draft Designer applies technical drafting skills to review and revise drawings for quality assurance, dimensional accuracy, and design consistency. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with additional skills in Revit, SketchUp, or similar architectural design software considered advantageous. Candidates with experience working on U.S. residential or commercial projects will gain a competitive edge in this role. This position does not include team management responsibilities but requires strong coordination and communication within multidisciplinary project groups.
Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings and detailed construction documents for projects located in the U.S., ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards.
- Develop comprehensive floor plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Revise and update drawings based on project requirements, design modifications, and feedback from architects and engineers.
- Collaborate and coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to maintain accuracy and consistency across all architectural documentation.
- Conduct thorough reviews of drawings for precision in dimensions, clarity of design, and adherence to project specifications.
- Utilize software tools such as Revit and SketchUp to enhance 3D visualization and improve drafting workflow when applicable.
- Apply knowledge of U.S. residential and commercial building codes to ensure all documents meet regulatory standards.
- Maintain organized records of project drawings and revisions to support efficient documentation control.
- Assist the design team by providing technical drafting support and solutions to design or documentation challenges.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in building codes to implement best practices in architectural drafting.
