ARYAN GENERAL MAINTENANCE is seeking a skilled and experienced Lathe Man (Kharadia) to join their team at the Manga Raiwind Road facility in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience operating and setting up lathe machines. This role requires expertise in various turning operations and the ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately. The candidate must also demonstrate proficiency in using measuring tools and adhere strictly to safety regulations throughout the work process. This position does not involve managing a team but demands a high level of precision and attention to detail. The successful applicant will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of machining operations in the industrial setup. Responsibilities
- Operate and set up lathe machines to perform various turning, facing, and cutting tasks accurately.
- Interpret and understand engineering drawings to ensure machining meets precise specifications and quality standards.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check dimensions and maintain accuracy.
- Follow all safety rules and protocols to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents while operating machinery.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of lathe machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality requirements before delivery.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as necessary based on job requirements and material specifications.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and meet production targets efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, machine maintenance, and any issues encountered during operations.
- Continuously review and improve machining processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
