Milling Operator

ARYAN GENERAL MAINTENANCE is seeking a qualified and motivated Milling Operator to join our manufacturing team at our facility located on Manga Raiwind Road, Lahore. The ideal candidate will possess a technical or mechanical qualification and have at least one year of experience in operating milling machines. This role focuses on precise machine setup, operation, and maintenance to support efficient production and maintain quality standards. The Milling Operator must be skilled in reading engineering drawings, utilizing measuring tools accurately, and have a thorough understanding of milling processes and safety protocols. Attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations are vital to ensure the smooth running of operations and the safety of all personnel within the work area. The Milling Operator works independently without team management responsibilities but collaborates closely with other production staff to meet daily output targets. This role requires a hands-on approach to machine maintenance and machine setup to optimize performance and product quality. The right candidate will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth while effectively handling material and equipment in a safe and organized manner.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling machines according to engineering drawings and production specifications.
• Perform precise measurements using appropriate measuring tools to ensure product accuracy and quality.
• Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and machining instructions effectively.
• Monitor milling operations continuously to detect mechanical problems and make necessary adjustments.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Carry out routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on milling equipment to prevent downtime.
• Handle materials and tools properly to ensure efficiency and avoid damage during milling processes.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet daily operational goals without compromising quality standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored correctly after use.
• Report any defects or irregularities observed during the milling process to the supervisor promptly.
• Stay updated on new milling techniques and equipment advancements to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
