Arzoo Textile Mills Ltd. is looking for a disciplined and results-driven Administrative Manager to oversee the comprehensive administration and development of our housing society. The ideal candidate will independently manage daily operations, coordinate with government authorities, and maintain effective relations with residents and contractors. A strong leader, preferably a retired Army officer of Major rank or above, will bring exceptional organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a firm yet diplomatic approach to handling disputes and ensuring smooth society functioning. This role demands ownership, strategic execution of management directives, and oversight of a large team of 100 personnel to maintain security, discipline, and timely completion of all society projects. The Administrative Manager will be responsible for supervising development works, liaising effectively with local government departments, and managing resident relations while upholding society regulations. The position requires someone with at least 10 years of experience in administrative or project supervision roles, preferably with a background in housing society management or related fields. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, alongside the capacity to execute plans, oversee staff discipline, and deliver consistent progress reports to senior management. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity requiring a structured, performance-oriented mindset focused on protecting and advancing the housing society's interests.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative affairs to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the housing society.
- Maintain professional and effective working relationships with local administration, government bodies, and utility providers.
- Supervise and monitor all ongoing development projects, coordinating with contractors and technical teams to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Translate management directives into clear action plans, set milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Handle plot holders' and residents' complaints, disputes, and requests fairly and firmly to maintain harmony within the society.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a large team including administrative staff, security personnel, maintenance teams, and contractors to enforce discipline and productivity.
- Resolve operational and administrative issues proactively to minimize delays, escalating matters to management only when necessary.
- Ensure robust security arrangements and enforce society rules to maintain a peaceful and well-managed community environment.
- Prepare and submit detailed regular reports on development progress, administrative activities, expenditures, and pending issues.
- Establish an effective administrative system and improve coordination with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ownership by working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining discipline and accountability across all society operations.
- Identify bottlenecks delaying progress and take corrective actions to uphold schedule integrity.
- Safeguard the housing society’s interests through transparent and trustworthy leadership.
- Negotiate and liaise with government departments, development authorities, and municipal bodies to secure necessary approvals and support for society projects.
- Maintain comprehensive records and monitor compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements.
