PRODUCTION MANAGER

Ashraf Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Production Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of production operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production planning, lean manufacturing, quality control, and cost management, with the ability to supervise a team of 20 persons effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills to coordinate production activities, monitor schedules, and ensure timely achievement of production targets while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations. The Production Manager is responsible for optimizing workflow, improving production processes, and collaborating closely with procurement, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role demands excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure. The successful candidate must also possess a solid understanding of production systems and ERP software, such as SAP or Oracle, to manage resources, budgets, and reporting effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise all production activities to meet company goals and production targets.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality standards.
• Implement and uphold quality control measures to meet or exceed company standards and customer expectations.
• Coordinate with procurement to secure necessary materials and with quality assurance to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimized.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a production team of 20 members to maximize productivity and foster professional development.
• Prepare, analyze, and present detailed production performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the production process and develop strategies for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Manage budget and cost control measures to optimize resource utilization and reduce waste.
• Utilize ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to forecast demand, plan production, and optimize inventory control.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline production processes and enhance operational efficiency.
