Accountant

Description

The Accountant must demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is necessary to efficiently manage financial data and reporting tasks. The role includes preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting audit processes. The individual will collaborate with other departments to reconcile accounts payable and receivable, while maintaining controls to safeguard company assets. Effective communication and organizational skills are important for managing this role and leading a team member to achieve accurate financial management for Ashwheelz Pvt Ltd.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions and ensure accuracy, including debit and credit entries.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct account reconciliation for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements promptly.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing reliable financial data and analysis.
• Ensure proper tax preparation and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain and update the general ledger and financial records with meticulous attention to detail.
• Use Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems to manage financial data and streamline workflows.
• Monitor and control invoices, expenses, payments, and other financial documents and records.
• Lead and support a small team member to maintain accounting procedures and meet deadlines.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for process improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to provide necessary financial information.
• Maintain compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and financial controls.
• Continuously review and improve accounting practices to support financial efficiency and accuracy.
