Ashwheelz Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Dispatch System Developer with expertise in Transportation Management Systems and dispatch workflow design. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in a production environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of production planning, workflow management, and operational efficiency. This role focuses on developing and enhancing systems that optimize freight load planning, route optimization, and integrate GPS and AVL technologies to improve real-time data processing and dispatch operations. The candidate does not need to manage a team but should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate transportation resources effectively. The Dispatch System Developer collaborates with various departments to design, implement, and maintain software solutions that streamline dispatch workflows and improve overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities include integrating APIs for seamless data exchange, designing and managing databases to support dispatch operations, and ensuring high-quality software through rigorous testing and quality assurance. The role requires strong communication and reporting skills to monitor key performance indicators and support continuous process improvements within the transportation and production environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain transportation management and dispatch systems to enhance operational workflows.
• Implement efficient route optimization algorithms to improve delivery schedules and reduce transit times.
• Integrate GPS and Automated Vehicle Location (AVL) systems to provide real-time tracking and monitoring of shipments.
• Develop and manage APIs to facilitate data exchange between dispatch systems and external platforms.
• Design and maintain databases to handle large volumes of transportation and dispatch data securely and efficiently.
• Process and analyze real-time data to support dynamic decision-making in dispatch operations.
• Conduct software testing and quality assurance to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and performance.
• Plan and optimize freight loads to maximize transport efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to dispatch and transportation to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production teams to align transportation resources with production output and scheduling requirements.
• Report regularly on system performance, challenges, and opportunities to enhance dispatch processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by implementing process upgrades based on operational feedback.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in system development and operations.
