Description
Atp is seeking a dedicated Lecturer in English to join its academic team. The ideal candidate possesses at least 16 years of education and demonstrates fluency in spoken English. This role involves delivering engaging lectures, facilitating discussions, and assessing students’ progress to enhance their language proficiency and critical thinking skills. The lecturer will contribute to curriculum development and create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic success. The Lecturer in English will not manage a team but will collaborate closely with other faculty members to ensure consistency in teaching methods and standards. The role requires excellent classroom management abilities and presentation skills to maintain an effective and interactive learning atmosphere. The successful candidate will support students’ educational growth by utilizing strong communication techniques and assessment strategies, aligning with Atp’s commitment to academic excellence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive lectures on English language and literature topics according to the curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate diverse teaching methods to meet varying student needs.
- Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and presentations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and student engagement.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ progress and adjust teaching approaches as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Participate in curriculum review and development to keep instructional materials current and relevant.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to address student behavior effectively and maintain order.
- Encourage critical thinking and effective communication skills through interactive class activities and discussions.
- Collaborate with other faculty to ensure consistency and quality in academic programs.
- Stay updated on educational best practices and incorporate innovative teaching technologies where appropriate.
