CNC MILLING MACHINE Operator

Description

Aura Engineering seeks a skilled CNC Milling Machine Operator with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling and drilling machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and G-code programs, ensuring all parts meet strict quality standards through precise measurements and inspection processes. The candidate must follow all safety protocols carefully and maintain a well-organized and clean workspace according to 5S principles. This position demands strong attention to detail and a troubleshooting mindset to minimize production downtime and efficiently resolve machine-related issues. The operator will work closely with other production staff to ensure smooth manufacturing processes and product consistency. The role requires flexibility to work in shifts as needed and a commitment to continuous improvement in operational practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate CNC milling and drilling machines according to technical drawings and operational guidelines.
• Operate CNC machines efficiently to manufacture components within specified tolerances.
• Interpret and execute G-code programming and perform toolpath verification to ensure correct machining processes.
• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain machine tools and equipment by performing routine checks and adjustments to avoid downtime.
• Adhere strictly to all workplace safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
• Organize and maintain the work area in line with 5S principles to enhance productivity and safety.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues or defects to improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams to resolve manufacturing inconsistencies.
• Document machine operation data and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
