Aura Packages is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding our market presence. This role focuses on building strong client relationships and understanding the needs of the packaging industry, with a special emphasis on the plastic packaging sector. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in business development and is familiar with the packaging industry, especially plastic packaging. This position does not involve managing a team but requires excellent self-management and proactive communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager researches and identifies potential clients and new business opportunities within the packaging industry, particularly focusing on plastic packaging. They develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions to meet those requirements. This includes preparing and submitting DVR submissions as part of the business development process. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to coordinate proposals, pricing negotiations, and contract discussions, ensuring alignment with company capabilities and client expectations.

The manager regularly analyzes market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to advise on strategic initiatives and improve product offerings. They attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Aura Packages' services. Reporting on business development performance, pipeline status, and market intelligence is also part of the role, helping guide decision-making at the company level. This position demands a high level of professionalism, strong organizational skills, and a focus on delivering measurable business growth.
