Aura is seeking a talented Video Editor with a strong foundation in digital video production and post-production techniques. The ideal candidate has at least two years of professional experience creating engaging videos across various platforms using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. They possess a keen eye for detail in color correction and grading, and are skilled in audio editing and mixing. This role requires proficiency in non-linear video editing workflows and the ability to craft polished visual narratives that align with brand messaging and marketing goals. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative team to produce high-quality video content tailored for social media and other digital channels. They demonstrate expertise in motion graphics animation, visual effects compositing, and are comfortable working within Adobe Illustrator to create and integrate graphic elements. This position focuses on hands-on editing without team management responsibilities but is crucial in delivering refined, impactful video assets in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into compelling and visually appealing video content using non-linear editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Apply color correction and grading techniques to enhance the visual tone and mood of videos.
- Perform audio editing and mixing to ensure clear and balanced sound quality across all video projects.
- Create and integrate motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects to enrich storytelling.
- Compose and layer visual effects to produce seamless and professional-quality video sequences.
- Adapt videos and content formats optimized for various social media platforms ensuring appropriate sizing and formatting standards.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver videos that meet branding and marketing requirements.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple editing tasks simultaneously.
- Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends to continuously improve content quality.
- Work with Adobe Illustrator to design and incorporate graphic elements that complement video content.
