Avrena is seeking a friendly, confident, and responsible Sales Associate & Cashier to join our women's clothing store. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selections, and ensuring smooth and accurate handling of billing and payments. The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, manage the trial room operations, and keep daily sales records accurate and up to date. With at least two years of experience preferred, the candidate must demonstrate good communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a professional demeanor. The position does not require managing a team but expects ownership of individual responsibilities and commitment to represent the brand professionally. This role demands a candidate who can connect with customers warmly and assist them effectively in selecting suitable clothing items and sizes. The Sales Associate & Cashier will be vital in creating a welcoming shopping environment and maintaining operational efficiency at the point of sale. Maintaining cleanliness, proper product displays, and handling payments securely and efficiently are key. Punctuality, honesty, and accountability are essential to deliver the high level of service Avrena strives to offer, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat visits.

Responsibilities

- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, offering assistance and guidance with their shopping needs.
- Help customers choose clothing items, provide sizing advice, and share product knowledge to enhance their shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process cash, card, and other payment methods.
- Maintain accurate daily records of sales transactions and cash handling.
- Arrange, fold, and display clothing products neatly to maintain attractive, organized sales areas.
- Monitor and manage the trial room, assisting customers with fitting and ensuring timely turnover.
- Keep the sales floor and cashier counter clean, tidy, and stocked with necessary materials or items.
- Provide courteous, professional service and resolve customer inquiries or issues efficiently.
- Uphold store policies regarding product returns, exchanges, and payments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Maintain punctuality and professional appearance consistent with company standards.
- Demonstrate honesty and responsibility in handling cash and sensitive customer information.
- Assist in basic inventory checks and restocking when required.
- Continuously update knowledge of current promotions, new products, and store policies to support customers effectively.
