Bapa Garments is seeking an experienced professional with extensive expertise in garment construction and production to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of fabric knowledge, quality control, sizing and fit, and production planning to ensure the highest standards in garment manufacturing. This role requires someone with at least 10 years of relevant experience who can efficiently oversee various stages of garment creation, from fabric cutting to finishing techniques. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex production workflows within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 50 skilled personnel, guiding and motivating them to meet production targets while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency. Effective leadership, communication, and coordination skills are essential to managing the production floor and implementing lean manufacturing principles. This position offers a significant opportunity to impact the production processes at Bapa Garments by introducing innovative methods and maintaining excellence in garment finishing and marker making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire garment production process, including fabric cutting, garment construction, sizing and fit, and garment finishing.
• Manage and lead a team of 50 production staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards at each stage of garment manufacturing to ensure the final product meets company and industry standards.
• Develop and execute production planning strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize waste, incorporating lean manufacturing principles.
• Coordinate fabric sourcing and maintain deep knowledge of different fabric types to optimize garment quality and performance.
• Promote accuracy in marker making and layout planning to optimize fabric use and reduce material costs.
• Guide and train team members on garment finishing techniques and ensure consistent application across products.
• Identify and resolve production issues promptly to avoid delays and ensure product quality.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics to propose improvements and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as design and quality assurance, to maintain product standards and deliver customer satisfaction.
