The Medical Billing Expert will collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to facilitate claims submission and reimbursement while maintaining high standards of data confidentiality and patient service. The Medical Billing Expert leads the billing team to optimize the revenue cycle management processes at Batech. This position demands effective team leadership skills, ability to troubleshoot billing issues, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and insurance policies. The candidate will also ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, monitor billing workflows, and implement process improvements to reduce claim denials and accelerate payments. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10 billing professionals to ensure accurate and timely processing of medical claims and patient billing.
• Oversee medical coding and application of proper billing codes to maximize reimbursement and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve claim denials, billing disputes, and payment issues.
• Utilize billing software proficiently to manage claims processing, billing cycles, and patient account collections efficiently.
• Monitor accounts receivable and patient billing to reduce outstanding balances and improve collection rates.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of medical billing policies, insurance plans, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular training and performance evaluations for team members to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Implement process improvements to streamline workflows, decrease claim rejections, and enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and compliance with privacy laws and organizational policies.
• Prepare detailed reports on billing activities, revenue status, and team performance for management review.
