Beverly Hills Developers seeks a skilled Civil Engineer Finishing with a strong background in managing finishing works for high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate holds a BSc or BE degree in Civil Engineering and has 4 to 7 years of relevant experience. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of internal and external plaster, tile flooring, marble, granite, paint work, ceiling, wood work, aluminium and glass work, as well as doors and windows. The engineer will oversee all finishing details strictly following the approved drawings, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision throughout the project lifecycle. The position demands a professional who can effectively manage contractors, labor teams, and materials onsite, with a primary focus on quality control and accurate quantity checking. Immediate availability is essential for this role. This position involves leading a large team of 50 individuals, coordinating closely with various departments including the MEP team to guarantee smooth progress and compliance with project specifications. The Civil Engineer Finishing will report daily progress and updates to top management, including the Chairman, Executives, and Project Manager, ensuring transparency and timely completion of tasks. The role emphasizes safety compliance, site supervision, and rigorous inspection to maintain high standards and deliver superior finishing results for high-rise buildings.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all finishing activities at the construction site, ensuring adherence to approved drawings and project specifications.
- Manage and coordinate a team of 50 personnel, including contractors and laborers, to optimize productivity and maintain safety standards.
- Review and inspect the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality control procedures and construction standards.
- Coordinate closely with the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams to integrate finishing works smoothly within the overall project timeline.
- Conduct detailed site inspections and quality control checks regularly, employing inspection and testing methods for materials and workmanship.
- Prepare and manage accurate material estimations and cost calculations for finishing works, monitoring expenses to stay within budget.
- Plan and schedule finishing activities strategically to meet project deadlines and avoid delays.
- Utilize AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools to interpret and verify construction drawings and finishing design requirements.
- Ensure all finishing tasks such as plastering, tile and marble installation, painting, ceiling work, woodwork, aluminum and glass installations adhere to project standards and client expectations.
- Address and resolve any issues related to site quality, safety compliance, or work progress swiftly and effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive daily progress reports to be shared with Chairman, Executives, and Project Manager for review and decision-making.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance during all site activities to protect workers and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
